What does it cost to post or answer a request?
The platform is free. We don't take commission on transactions.
How long does a posted request stay active?
24 hours from publication, then it expires automatically. The author can
renew or repost it.
Who handles payment?
Payment is negotiated and settled directly between the shipper and the
transporter. Van.md does not process payments.
Can I transport personal items, not just commercial cargo?
Yes — the platform handles commercial shipments (pallets, goods) as well as
personal luggage, parcels, and moves.
What paperwork do I need for international transport?
For EU routes: CMR, commercial invoice, EAD/T1 customs documents for goods.
For personal belongings: ID and, optionally, a list of items transported.
